My article “Isometric Drawing” has once again made it to the front cover! I’m thrilled to announce that my latest article has been published by the renowned German publisher Heise in the 2024/2025 edition of Mac & i EXTRA magazine. This workshop was a major undertaking, spanning several months of development. It’s the most comprehensive article I’ve written to date.

You will find my article on pages 132–145, a detailed 14-page workshop on creating isometric illustrations using Affinity Designer on the iPad.
Step by step, I guide readers through the fundamentals of isometric drawing, exploring grids, axes, perspectives, and the app’s unique projection planes. You will get to know the interface and tools, create your first sketches, and dive deep into vector and curve workflows.
With approximately 44,470 characters, this article is packed with hands-on tips, visual examples, and expert insights – ideal for anyone looking to enhance spatial awareness and work creatively with layers, colours, and shapes.

The magazine measures 21 x 29.8 cm and is printed in full colour on recycled paper (certified with the Blue Angel eco-label). The article features a double-column workshop layout, including step-by-step instructions and downloadable content such as photos, graphics, assets and more. All text, images, photos and illustrations in the article were created entirely by me.
